Research Memo 3

Research Memo 3
I chose three videos for my blog that I thought would show the most content towards obesity. The first video, called obesity affects. The first video I looked at I liked a lot and used it for various reasons. I thought it showed the most information that I can ever put into words and more. This documentary video explains my entire research topic. It shows some of the short term and long term affects of obesity, it tells us why people are getting more obese and it shows how to do something about obesity in detail.
The second video I chose, called childhood obesity. It talks about what causes childhood obesity and how it affects you through the rest of your life. It goes onto talk about how obesity affects a person’s mood and can negatively affect a person’s mental health and their physical health. It says that obesity can be hereditary but the factors that cause it are the person’s lifestyle and diet. Going on to say that obesity is caused by how lazy a person is and whether they exercise daily or not. For the last part of this video they say for more information go to WeMakeYouKnow.com/child-obesity.
The last video, called the effects and causes of obesity. This video is about the effects and causes of obesity. The video says that obesity is a chronic condition caused by a person’s diet and lifestyle. It shows the long-term consequences of obesity like atherosclerosis and can be increase the rate of some types of cancers like breast cancer. People overweight are also more likely to develop type 2 diabetes, have a direct affect on a person’s blood pressure, and have an impact on the types of diseases that they are more susceptible to. Lastly, overweight women have to go urinate more often than women do, and most overweight people often complain that they have cramps and pains because of the excess weight.
